Ethno Techno
Auditioning Loops
The enclosed folders contain compressed audio files of every loop in Ethno Techno. (See the accompanying "
MVP Sample Finder READ ME!" for details on playing these files.)The files are organized two ways:
1) By Disc
2) By Category
The Disc A and Disc B folders contain every groove as they appear on the Sampler CD-ROMs, chronologically according to tempo. Note that the numeric characters at the beginning of each name represent the tempo (BPM). Incidentally, the loops on Sampler CD-ROM disc C do not appear here since these are the full length original mixes of the shorter Full Mix loops that appear on Discs A and B.
Since Ethno Techno features both complete mixes and the separate looped elements, we thought it would be handy to have those elements arranged into useful categories as well. So the files in the ET by Category folder are duplicates of those that appear in Discs A and B, but arranged according to category.
A Quick Abbreviation Guide
You may encounter some of these characters while browsing sound files:
End, Ending
FMix or FMx, Full Mix
Int, Intro
RMix or RMx, Remix
SMix or SMx, Small Mix
Note that these files are meant for auditioning purposes only. They are not meant to be looped themselves. In fact, since most were edited for use with MVP, they won't "time out" correctly to make seamless loops.
Again, see the accompanying "
MVP Sample Finder README!" for details on playing these files.-ILIO Entertainments
